Monday Cozy Mystery:

Join the krewe this morning...

Celebrating National Peach Pie day

A Toast to Die For…

Claire Winters, owner of The Cozy Nook, is ready to enjoy the town's Peach Festival—until the celebrity guest collapses at the welcome brunch, poisoned by sparkling peach tea raised in a toast.

With her tabby Max keeping her grounded and journalist friend Sophie chasing every whisper, Claire finds herself doing what café owners aren’t supposed to do: hunting a killer.

The victim’s exhausted assistant knew her drink preference and placed the fatal glass himself. Her own relative invited her to the festival, and carried a complicated grudge. Both had motive. Both had access. And they are only the beginning.

Then a second poisoning nearly claims another life, disguised as an act of kindness no one thinks to question. As Deputy Sheriff Mark Benton and Claire close in, they realize the killer is still smiling—and closer than anyone wants to believe.

It's not all peaches in this small town. Someone sweet enough to trust is bitter enough to kill, and Claire is running out of time before the festival claims another victim.

Book Review

Another good cozy featuring a great cast of characters and red herrings to keep you guessing. A murder at a peach festival is what starts it all. Add in an attempted murder, a cat, and human sleuths and you get a juicy read you can sink your reading teeth into.

Sit back and enjoy!.

Red Hot Velvet Murder (Frosted Love Cozy Mysteries` Book 32)

Every Ending Holds the Promise of a New Beginning.
All good things must come to an end.
But fortunately, the story of these characters doesn’t have to end just yet.
For years, readers have followed cupcake baker and amateur sleuth Melissa Beckett and her handsome detective husband, Chas Beckett, through murder investigations, life-changing adventures, unforgettable friendships, and countless delicious desserts.
Now, one chapter of their story reaches its emotional conclusion.
As life in the beachside town of Calgon, Florida moves forward, the people Missy loves most find themselves facing some of the most difficult decisions they have ever encountered. Friendships are tested, futures hang in the balance, and choices made today may alter lives forever.
Of course, where Missy Beckett is concerned, murder is never far away.
When a mysterious death sends shockwaves through the community, Missy and Chas find themselves drawn into one final investigation that challenges everything they thought they knew. As hidden truths emerge and long-standing relationships evolve, the stakes become deeply personal for everyone involved.
With emotions running high and secrets threatening to change the future forever, Missy must once again rely on her instincts, her courage, and the people she loves most to uncover the truth.
But this mystery is about more than solving a crime.
It's about friendship, family, love, loss, and discovering what comes next when one journey ends and another begins.
Can Missy and Chas uncover the truth before tragedy strikes again? And when the dust settles, what will the future hold for the beloved residents of Calgon?
Filled with heart, humor, suspense, and unforgettable moments, this powerful finale celebrates everything readers have come to love about the Frosted Love Cozy Mysteries series.
Whether you're meeting Missy for the first time or have followed her adventures from the very beginning, this cozy mystery delivers a satisfying blend of murder, mystery, friendship, and hope.
This was originally intended to be the final installment of the Frosted Love Cozy Mysteries. However, thanks to enthusiastic readers, the story continues in:
  • The INNcredibly Sweet Series
  • Cupcakes in Paradise Series
  • Calgon Chronicles
Perfect for fans of culinary cozy mysteries, cupcake shop mysteries, amateur women sleuths, beach town mysteries, bed and breakfast mysteries, clean whodunits, small-town murder mysteries, cozy mystery series, and character-driven fiction.
