KU Book Review 

When We Burn is the first book in the Blackwells series and it was terrific. We were introduced to Bridger throughout the Wild series as Millie's best friend but we really got a full glimpse of him and Dani in She's A Wild One. I really love these two. They were a such a perfect match. Dani and Bridger always had a connection when they were younger but they always stayed in the friend zone due to a various set of reasons. But now the chemistry is overwhelming and Bridger can not stay away anymore. I love how Bridger pursues Dani and builds her up. She was always it for him so seeing their interactions was heartwarming. Bridger took care of Dani and loved her so hard. With Bridger, Dani came into her own and that was amazing. I also loved the interactions between Dani and Birdie and Bridger. That is the definition of family. Dani loved Birdie like her own and it was so sweet. I really enjoyed the friendships displayed in the book-so strong and caring. There was a little mystery and suspense that added more jazz to the book. This was such a beautiful and heartfelt story. Kristen Proby just knows how to get you in the feels and really fall in love with all her characters-just wonderful writing. I couldn't get enough of Dani and Bridger.
