I'm the president of the Kings of Anarchy MC: Virginia Charter. My reputation for being who I am and taking no shit from anyone all while taking care of business precedes me. It's part of the reason I got the title and the gavel.
I protect my own. Club and family. They are what matters to me, and I refuse to let them down because I know what it's like to lose someone who's counting on you.
My brothers and I are still on the hunt for one we should've saved.
Each lead goes nowhere. Nothing helps. But we won't stop until we bring her back, doing whatever it takes to make sure she comes home again.
In the middle of all of this, a new face shows up out of thin air.
I don't have time for her ordeal. More trouble is the last thing I need. But Mckenna's pleading eyes tell me she's in deep with someone she used to trust.
Someone who means to do her harm.
And I may not be looking for an ol' lady of my own, but I'm not about to let another woman suffer when I can save her.

KU Book Review
McKenna is running away from her stalker, but she had guided help on where to run to, even if she didn’t know it. I loved how she stood up and protected Kinley when she found her, even to a group of bikers that were Kinley’s family/friends. McKenna’s interaction with Heat and the chemistry between them and how she tries to deny it, but in the end she gives in and the bond between them is amazing to watch.
Heat doesn’t want a mate/woman but he doesn’t see McKenna coming and it’s too late for him to deny it. He tries to fight it but can’t. He sees McKenna for who she is and falls for her. The way Heat is with McKenna is perfect for them, willing to share the burden and help with her panic attacks. Heat is protective of her and takes on her stalker with the help of his club. So glad they finally took care of the vampires. Can’t wait to read Brimstone’s book, I know it will be a long road for Kinley and them coming together.
