Todays Book
When the Christmas Carnival returns, will our trusting baker be skating on thin ice? Cindy Claus loves baking holiday treats for her Silver Shoals community. This season she’s gearing up for a jolly new local tradition. Just as she’s embracing this human celebration, a tragedy claims the life of a beloved local.
The new deputy deems it an accident, but Cindy suspects foul play. Before she can dig up any clues, a stranger arrives, jumps into the investigation and now Mitzy Moon and Cindy Claus will have to find a way to work together…
Can Cindy and Mitzy unfreeze the clues before a killer gets away with cold-blooded murder?
Chocolate Crinkle Cookie Murder is the fourth book in the festive paranormal cozy series, Christmas Catastrophe Mysteries. If you like kind-hearted heroines, furry sidekicks, and a dash of mistletoe magic, then you’ll love Trixie Silvertale’s wintery whodunit.

Book Review
As soon as I realized Mitzy Moon and Erick Harper from the Harper and Moon Investigations series were joining Cindy Claus in Silver Shoals, I knew this was going to be something special. Watching Cindy and Mitzy become instant friends was one of my favorite parts of the book. Cindy's sweet, trusting nature is the perfect balance to Mitzy's witty, street-smart personality, and their chemistry is wonderful. It doesn't hurt that Keith and Erick, the ladies’ love interests, get along so well, either.
The mystery kept me guessing with plenty of twists, but what really made this book shine was spending time with these characters. I love the small-town setting, the holiday atmosphere, and the mix of humor, romance, and paranormal fun that Trixie Silvertale always delivers.
If you're already a fan of either series, this crossover is an absolute treat.
